Sugata Mitra on educating children, the end of knowing and the need to learn to "figure it out"
From a physicist and educational pioneer: the future of knowing for all of us
If you don't know Sugata Mitra, you should! A remarkable physicist and education leader. I had a thought-proving conversation with him on my ImaginizeWorld podcast-video series a few days ago. Sugata won the million-dollar TED prize in 2013 and used it to realize his ambition (born from the Hole in the Wall experiment that we talk about) of creating schools in the cloud where learning emerges in self-organized learning environments (SOLEs) rather than being taught.
I share a couple clips and the full post on my new publication ImaginizeWorld. As mentioned in an earlier article, I am no longer maintaining the Gig Mindsetter publication, but am simply posting a few more notes with links to the new publication to make sure no one gets lost in the transition!
